Welcome to our community engagement event on proposals for the redevelopment of Hyde Park, Hayes on behalf of the site owners Columbia Threadneedle.
Our proposals seek to demolish the existing office buildings and multi-storey car park within the redline (right) and deliver a residential-led scheme of between 650-675 new homes. We're focused on the delivery of new, modern, high quality living tailored to the location and needs of local residents.
Before finalising proposals and submitting an 'Outline' planning application, we are keen to engage with the local community and provide an opportunity for local residents and stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the draft plans.
The benefits of the scheme include:
Transforming underused office space into vibrant housing, which helps meet critical housing need.
Replacing outdated commercial buildings no longer serving the community.
Meeting modern housing demand by creatively using underutilisedspace.
Creating new homes where people want to live, close to jobs, schools, and services.
Bringing new life and investment into the neighbourhood.
Sustainable urban development: reusing land instead of building on greenfield sites.
The closing date for the receipt of feedback was 30th May 2025
We will consider all the comments received during this consultation, prior to submitting a planning application. Comments received after the closing date will be reviewed but may not be included in the Statement of Community Engagement report.
